David Judson continued our series on the book of Daniel – this week looking at Daniel chapter 9 – which includes Daniel’s prayer:

“Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, O Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. 18 Give ear, O God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. 19 O Lord, listen! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, hear and act! For your sake, O my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.” — Daniel 9:17-19 (NIV)

Gordon Robertson was preaching from the book of Daniel – exploring what we can learn about prayer from Daniel 2:14-19, Daniel 6:6-11, and Daniel 9:1-19.

“Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.” — Daniel 6:10 (NIV)
